Overview
This document defines the fee structure applied to vendors onboarded on the JT Payment Gateway. It covers the commercial pricing model, the mobile money operator (MNO) Interchange fee schedule, worked examples, and transaction limits.
Commercial Pricing Model
The total fee charged to a vendor for each processed transaction is calculated as follows:

[!NOTE] The MNO Interchange fee is not a margin line for JT Payment Gateway; it is collected at cost and remitted directly to the respective mobile network operator.
MNO Fee Schedule
JT Payment Gateway is currently integrated with three mobile money operators in Zambia. The flat fees below are charged by each MNO per transaction, based on the transaction band. These fees are passed through to vendors at cost.

[!IMPORTANT] Transaction Limit: All transactions above K10,000 are blocked and will not be processed through the JT Payment Gateway regardless of MNO or channel.

Formula: Total Fee = (Transaction Amount × 1.5%) + MNO Flat Fee

Key Notes & Conditions
- Non-Refundable: Fees are applied per transaction and are non-refundable once a transaction has been successfully processed.
- Gross Calculation: The 1.5% platform fee is calculated on the gross transaction value before any MNO fee deduction.
- Schedule Updates: MNO fees are subject to change. JT Payment Gateway will notify vendors of any changes to the MNO fee schedule with a minimum of 14 days' notice.
- Gateway Limit: Transactions above K10,000 are blocked at the gateway level and will not be submitted to any MNO for processing.
- Currency: All amounts are denominated in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW).
- Scope: This fee structure applies to collections (pay-in) transactions. Disbursement fee structures are governed separately.
- Platform Fee Review: JT Payment Gateway reserves the right to review and update the platform percentage fee. Any changes will be communicated to vendors in advance and reflected in an updated version of this document.
